Wave of Light

Join us on Sunday, October 13, at 6 pm for an evening of remembrance and unity at Wave of Light, hosted by Remembering Cherubs, in honor of Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day. This special candle-lighting ceremony is a time for parents and families from across Southeast Michigan to come together and honor the precious babies gone too soon—whether due to miscarriage, stillbirth, infant loss, TFMR, or infertility.

Whether your loss is recent or occurred years ago, this event is for you. Here, everyone is welcome, every baby is remembered, and no one grieves alone.

What Healing Looks Like

Wave of Light

Community Connections

Enjoy a delicious bowl of warm and hearty chili while mingling with other families.

Real people share real stories of healing after loss.

During the Wave of Light, we will lovingly honor each baby by name, nickname, or family name as we light candles together, creating a shared "wave of light" that stretches across our community. Following this, we invite you to join in a decompression session with deep breathing, providing a gentle space to process and express any emotions that arise.

After the ceremony, we invite you to stay and connect with others who share similar experiences. Visit our resource table for valuable information on local support groups, counseling services, and other helpful resources. Guests who register will receive a complimentary Ongoing Support Toolkit, courtesy of Remembering Cherubs. This special toolkit includes a copy of *The Pregnancy Loss Guidebook*, written by our founder and executive director, Monica Sholar Anderson.
